  The people there are great but the selection is tiny compared to larger Home Depots. I recommend going down the road to the Downers Grove Home Depot, it is much larger and has everything youll need

  I bought a dishwasher here just because they do installation. Waited a week took the day off of work and the delivery guy show up and say nope sorry can't install it we don't have the right hose. So I rejected the delivery called the store and the appliance manager apologized and said he would refund me and call me back when that was completed. None of that ended up happening I had to go to the store in person to get my refund and never got a call about anything. Complete waste of time apparently nobody at this facility was qualified or willing to do their job.

  Rented a van from this location yesterday, November 28th 2017 from 11-2pm. The older pudgy male customer service representative that wears glasses in the tool rental department is quite literally the worst person I’ve ever had an interaction with. He is rude, crude, abrasive and acts like he is better than you. His service was so awful. Home Depot has a bad policy with rentals and gas. They do not post the mileage on the rental agreement and tell you to keep track of the miles yourself so you know how much gas to put in. If you happen to put a little too much gas back in you’re S.O.L. As they will not adjust the bill accordingly even though if they have to put gas they charge you an arm and a leg. I expressed my frustration with this policy and they guy was snide and a complete jerk. He also crazily claimed he WAS Home Depot... He then tried to dismiss me and tell me to get out of the store while I was speaking to him (there no other people in the department). I had to ask him if he considered himself good at customer service and he replied with “I am not in customer service I am in tool rental!” I reminded him that I was a customer and he was there to serve me in my needs and conserns regarding tool rental so he was indeed in customer service... obviously this one guy that works there is not the brightest crayon in the box. He then lost his temper and though it is hard to imagine he got worse. The manager on duty was called in. The manager on duty that came over did not introduce himself do me, did not give me his name, he was dressed in incredibly dirty attire... if he wasn’t the Manager on Duty I would have thought he was homeless. Though the Manager was also dismissive and smug at least he listened to my frustration with the policy and listened to my complaint about their awful employee. Never going to rent from here again as long as that jerk is working there. I definitely advise everyone to look elsewhere unless you want to be treated like dirt... heading to the other Home Depot down the road a couple mins or heading over to Menards would be in your best interest of you want to be treated with respect
